Our Ethos

Our Ethos is centered around producing high quality, beautiful flowers, in a sustainable way.  By carefully choosing our varieties and growing methods, and injecting alot of TLC, we can provide you with sustainable, luxurious blooms.​

By working with Nature and delivering locally, we ensure that your order has no air miles, no imports and no preservatives.

We only produce Seasonal blooms - we can't give you tulips in September I'm afraid!  But for us, that's the whole point - embracing what grows naturally in each month of our open season.

​

We have a “no waste” policy; any unsold stems and spent plants are put to compost, along with all spent organic materials and our own green waste from home!  We use as little water as possible on our plants (rainwater first!) and only dig beds when necessary, to preserve the carbon uptake in the soil.  No preserving sprays are used after cutting, as we deliver our blooms as soon as possible after harvesting.

To ensure our blooms are of the highest quality, we choose varieties specifically for a long vase-life as well as their beauty.  We sew, grow, harvest, style and package every stem by hand, with the care and attention it needs to ensure your bouquet or stem package is of a consistently high standard. 

There are no wasted, broken or mouldy stems in our bouquets or stem packages!
