to Our Community
Being part of, and supporting our local community, is not only part of our business ethos, but important to us as people too. From table jars at our local coffee shop, to Raffle Prize Bouquets for a weekly community group, local workshops to share growing knowledge, and connections with local businesses. we like to get out and about, support local community events and keep in touch with what's important to our local customers.
& Charity
As a family who have been touched by Alzheimer's Disease, we have first-hand experience of its many different challenges. We know how tough it can be, and we wanted to do something to help others going through the same struggles.
As part of our business goals, we are therefore determined to help create a future without Alzheimer's. We do this, by supporting the Alzheimer's Society. They strive for a better care system for Alzheimer sufferers, provide support and fund research into better treatments of the disease, with the ultimate goal of finding a cure. In short, support for now, and hope for the future.
We are proud to support the Alzheimer's Society, and we do this in two ways:
- Fundraising by way of our "Caring Coffees"
- Donating all income raised by sale of our Charity Blooms directly to the charity each year.
If you would like to buy a Caring Coffee, please feel free to visit our Buy Me A Coffee site, where you can also leave us a message or dedicate your coffee to someone you know who has been affected. If you are local to us, pop down to The Potting Shed at Russells Garden Centre, and take home some weekend flowers. Every little helps.
